This policy explains how Izadora Diehl MD, LLC ("Dr. Izadora Diehl, MD," "we," "us") collects, uses and protects information when you visit dradora.com, join our waitlist, book an appointment, or receive text messages from us.
Medical information
This website does not collect medical or health information. Health information you share with us as a patient, during your consultation or treatment, is protected health information under HIPAA and is handled according to our Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive at your visit. This policy covers website, booking and messaging information only.
Information we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, email address, mobile phone number, city, and any note you choose to add when you join the waitlist or book.
- Booking details: the appointment you choose and the contact details you enter. Bookings are handled by Cal.com.
- Payment details: deposits are processed by Stripe through Cal.com. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- SMS consent records: whether you opted in to text messages, the wording you agreed to, the page you agreed on, and the date and time.
- Website usage: standard information your browser sends, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technology (see below).
How we use it
- To schedule, confirm and remind you about appointments and events.
- To reply to your questions and follow up after your visit.
- To tell you about new appointment dates and events, if you have asked to hear from us.
- To process deposits and keep accurate records.
- To understand how our website is used and improve it.
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in, we send text messages about appointments, follow-ups and events. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to opt out at any time. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Full program terms are on our SMS Terms page.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the practice, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- Cal.com (scheduling) and Stripe (payment processing).
- Our SMS and email delivery providers, solely to deliver messages you agreed to receive.
- Website hosting and analytics providers, including Meta (see Cookies below).
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our patients, our practice or others.
Cookies and advertising technology
Our website uses cookies and the Meta Pixel to understand visits and measure our advertising. The Meta Pixel may share page-visit and form-submission events with Meta. It does not receive health information. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings or Meta's ad preferences. Our booking calendar (Cal.com) and map (Google Maps) are embedded from those services and may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and booking information for as long as it is useful to serve you, and consent records for as long as required to demonstrate consent. Medical records are kept as required by Florida law.
Your choices
- Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your website and waitlist information by emailing paul@dradora.com.
Children
Our services and website are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
